Our Mission and Purpose, as Directed by Jesus Christ

Our Mission Is Three-Fold...

Evangelism

The church is to preach the gospel to all nations (Matthew 28:18-19), teaching them to obey all things Christ has commanded, not just selective parts.

Edification

There is no fellowship on earth richer than that of faithful Christians (Ephesians 4: 15-16). May we always strive to provoke one another unto love and good works (Hebrews 10:24), and to bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2).

Benevolence

Christians have been given an unspeakable gift (II Corinthians 9:15). It is only natural that they themselves be givers as well (Acts 20:35). "As we therefore have opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith" (Galatians 6:10).

How Do We Carry Out That Mission?

Bible Correspondence Courses available by e-mail and regular mail to anyone who is interested in taking this course.

Game Night - The third Friday of each month at 6:30 p.m. (bring your favorite board game and finger food). Come, bring your friends and enjoy the fellowship.

GBN - (Gospel Broadcast Network) - live broadcast streaming can be seen 24/7 through high speed internet. (Soon you will be able to Link to it via our web site.) You can still get GOOD NEWS TODAY daily on Direct TV Channel 323, 7:00 a.m. and Dish channel 9407, 11:00 a.m. (CST).

Weekly Bulletin - is sent (via e-mail) to everyone who has requested and soon will be archived on our web site.

Articles are submitted weekly to The Crossville Chronicle and The Glade Sun newspapers.

Welcome Baskets - are taken to newcomers to the Fairfield Glade community.

Web Site - is constantly growing and adding more services for our members and web visitors.

Direct mailing - A new effort to reach out to our community, and share the Gospel with them.
